Pune Festival is back this year with a bang, and a calendar full of events.
With its unique blend of Music, Dance, Culture, Art, Drama, and Sport to be held in its 22nd year, Pune festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year.
The main attractions this year are Marathi Plays, Lavani Mahotsavs, Dance Recitals, Painting Comptition & Exhibition, Mahila Mahotsav, Ugavate tare, Indradhanu, Golf Tournament, and Roll ball Competition.
18th September 2010: Noted Danseuse and Actor Hema Malini will present her new ballet “Nritya Surabhi” on Saturday 18th September 2010. Hema Malini is a patron of the Pune Festival and has presented about 16 Ganesh Vandanas & ballets and in the twenty two year history of the festival. The first show of her every new ballet is at the Pune Festival.
19th September 2010: Renowned Santoor Maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma will perform on the 19th September 2010. at the Balgandharva Rangmandir at 9 pm
20th September 2010: Classical Vocalist Pandita Kishori Amonkar is sure to enthrall Pune when she sings on the 20th September 2010 at the Balgandharva Rangmandir at 9 pm.
On the 21st September 2010: Master Salim of “Love Aaj Kal” fame willl be at the Balgandharva Rangmandir at 9 pm topresent a Musical Nite.
